Masa SMA  adalah masa dimana gue mulai coba elaborate belajar bahasa inggris melalui beberapa metode. salah satu nya bikin naskah pidato. sebagai bagian dari angota English Club, dulu buat pidato bahasa inggris ini jadi salah satu kewajiban :D (terutama member baru) untuk nanti nya di presentasikan pada saat upacara hari senin (sebagai perwakilan kelas dan juga perwakilan english club). selain buat upacara, biasanya  juga naskah nya  dipakai untuk lomba pidato bahasa inggris. tapi pas lomba, tema nya tentu sudah ditentukan. 

Sayang nya naskah pidato  zaman SMA sudah  hilang entah kemana wkwk. yang tersimpan hanya  naskah pidato di zaman kuliah, gue buat ini bukan untuk keperluan upacara ya, tapi untuk ikut lomba. 

Nah,,, naskah pidato bahasa inggris dibawah ini, gue buat di tahun 2015 untuk lomba tingkat kampus. exactly ini tahun pertama masuk kampus dan masih semangat nya nyoba lomba ini itu heheh.

How To React To ASEAN Economic Community Positively as a Civil Servant.

First of all, let us say thanks to God almighty. because of God’s blessing, we can stand here in a good condition. And I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jaenul Abidin, I’m from B Class. I’m standing here to deliver a speech about How-To React To Asean Economic Community Positively as a civil servant.

Ladies and gentlemen

Indonesia as a developing country builds an economic system that is integrated with the free market continuously, and one way to do is expanding the trade market in ASEAN. This year (2015).  There was a treaty between Indonesia and some countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines, and other ASEAN countries. The treaty’s called AEC (ASEAN Economic Community) and held this year.

So the question is, does everyone know what AEC is?

The ASEAN Economic Community is a treaty that is made by ASEAN countries. It shall be the goal of regional economic integration. AEC envisages the following key characteristics such as a single market and production base, a highly competitive economic region, a region of equitable economic development, and a region fully integrated into the global economy. In short, the AEC will transform ASEAN into a region with free movement of goods, services, investment, and skilled labor.

good civil service is really important to be able to empower, welfare and improving the nation's intelligence as the same as the goal of the Indonesian people, especially in facing the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which has been implemented throughout the Asean member countries. so, to make it happen, Indonesia should develop the civil servant’s ability.  Civil servants are those who work in Government departments or those who are employed in civil service.

Nowadays, many civil servants do not have good competence. They give bad service to the public and lazy to work. This is the irony of the country. Meanwhile, ASEAN Economic Community needs a good service that is given by the civil servant but in fact, they do not give it. this is the task of government that should develop all the civil servant quality. It is not too late if we want to make preparation to face the AEC. Not only for the civil servants but the whole of Indonesian society. The one that should we really prepare is a human resource or skilled labor in order that we can compete with ones in the other country. because the key to the nation's progress is not because of its natural resources but human resources in it

So, what should we prepare for making Indonesian human resource including the civil servants according to criteria of the ASEAN Economic Community?

First. We should have the Skill. ASEAN Economic Community is very influential for the whole society in ASEAN because it requires to have the skills to compete with other ASEAN countries. No matter farmers, private employees, labor, or other professional workers, all we must have is Skill.

Second, Change the 'mindset' employees become entrepreneurs who are expected to emerge new entrepreneurs who can create jobs and meet the needs of Indonesian society independently so do not rely on other countries.

And the third is language. All of us have known that English is an international language. There are so many advertisements in the newspapers that look for people who have the ability in English. It means that there are so many business companies that want to look for employees who have the ability in English. We have graduated from university. We have the knowledge, but if we can’t compete with other people because we can’t speak  English, it’ so poor for us. That’s one of the reasons why we have to learn other languages. In the AEC era, we have to compete with people from other countries. We have to move on. It will happen if can communicate in It, right? So language is the most important for surviving in Asean Economic Comunity Era.

ASEAN economic community is a forum to promote the economy of the country which is incorporated in ASEAN, including our lovely country.

Indonesia should be ready to face AEC with increasing the quality of human resources to be more competence, having an entrepreneurial spirit, and smart so we will not be a slave in the own country.

Therefore, the progress of a nation is not only the responsibility of the government. but is the responsibility of all elements in  the nation, so it is the time to all to be united, hand in hand, and striving to develop the nation by the functions and duties of each other.

By the way, sorry ya  kalo grammar nya  masih berantakan, tahun 2015 masih belajar banget grammar soalnya, jadi tolong dimaklumi hihi. tujuan gue post di blog ini naskahnya, barangkali bisa jadi referensi  buat yang lagi nyari nyari naskah pidato bahasa inggris.
